Digital Impressions for Implant Supported and Implant Assisted Prosthetics
Overview
Whether it is a single unit implant crown, a complete denture with Locators/Novalocs abutments, or a full arch Zirconia Bridge on implants (All on X), there needs to be a standardized, evidenced based workflow. That workflow needs to leverage the intraoral scanning technology available and CAD/CAM processes required for a predictable result. This course will give you that!
Objectives
Identify implant supported vs implant assisted prostheses and the benefits of each
Ideal number and placement of implants based on the above
Intra-oral scanning options for the above. How fixture level vs abutment level scanning relates to the fit of the interim and final restorations
Photogrammetry vs IO Scan Body. The differences and how both can achieve clinically acceptable results
